Default rear wiper

Does anyone know if someone makes a cap that goes over the rear wiper mechanism after removing the wiper blade? I don't want to remove it totally, or maybe I do and put in some kind of button cap, buy the way who uses their rear wipers?

ME! - one of the reason's i've got a compact & not a coupe (that & the hatchback & about 20 others.

It's pretty rainy most of the time in the uK - so it's definitely needed - even in the dry sunny weather currently - it clears away all the dust & tree bits & stuff.

have you removed the whole wiper inc the motor? maybe you could get a blanking plate.

i haven't done anything yet, other than taking the blade and arm off. i was thinking about putting a spoiler on my car, and every thing i read about spoilers it says not for ti's due to the rear wiper it think. i don't use the rear wiper anyhow.

The shape is different too, it's not JUST because of the wiper.

Buy a spoiler that is designed for a 318ti, otherwise you are going to have to do some body work to make it fit.

Push the wipe stalk away from you & hold to get the washer jet.

although prev. owner hadn't used the rear wash in a while
- the holes had rusted up - took about 20 mins & a paperclip - then i got a stream of rusty water from all three holes.

Holy flying great info batman! I've been wondering how to get that thing to squirt!! I'm going to try this tomorrow How do you have to hold it for?

oh yeah, I use the rear wipers too. I do the double tap, so it would just wipe once, I don't like to leave it on.

BMW made minor mistake in their washer nozzles, they have AL and Stainless bits in there and they corrode, no problem if you use them a lot but they plug easy. I keep a sewing pin stuck in the driver headrest cloth to clean it with...

Good Info for me as well. No fluid comes out of mine either. I will try to do the same thing you did.

The nipple is rubber, may need replacing. I found the part # on REALOEM, I'm replacing mine this spring.

i use mine all the time..nothing like rain and snow. i love it though..i wish there was an easier way to get it to turn off though..i hate double tapping it. cuz then the front washer nozzles spit out fluid. and then i have to run the front wipers..

What is this double tapping? My rear wiper dribbles fluid but the blade does not move. Is it defective or am I missing something?
