Fartcan and BMW are mutually exclusive... So, not a fan. I don't think it sounds that bad. Perhaps just a little loud. Sure a Magnaflow or a nice catback system might sound better, but hey it was free right. If you get tired of it you could always replace it with something nicer. Yeah I agree. It sounds nice but it is loud. It took the rasp out of the exhaust tho. It's weird. I still have the stock resonator and I have a new cat on it. I think it sounded pretty good. I just put a Magnaflow on mine and it was about the same - sounds good, but even with the stock resonator and cat it's pretty loud. I don't mind, but my wife doesn't like it. It seems like it mellowed out a lot after a week, so I'm happy with it. Only thing I don't like is that it cut my gas mileage by quite a bit. The car sounds better so I floor it more often just to hear the sound! __________________

i like the sound. the idea of it being a fart can in the back of your mind will eventually gnaw at you until you decide to change it. let it rock for a few weeks...then decide. __________________

I actually think it sounds really good. Sounds like the right amount of noise. No rasp is good. Looks, Ehh not a big fan, but sound.. I'm on board. __________________
