Fartcan and BMW are mutually exclusive... So, not a fan. But if you like it, and it was free...

I don't think it sounds that bad. Perhaps just a little loud. Sure a Magnaflow or a nice catback system might sound better, but hey it was free right. If you get tired of it you could always replace it with something nicer. For me it's the physical looks of the muffler that are unappealing.

Yeah I agree. It sounds nice but it is loud. It took the rasp out of the exhaust tho. It's weird. I still have the stock resonator and I have a new cat on it. After a week I'll either hate it or love it I don't know yet. We will see.

+1, the look of it is definitely worse than the sound

am I the only one who doesn't think it looks that bad? might help if I had a few pictures from different angles but it seems like it fits inside the stock cut-out in the bumper pretty nicely

I think it sounded pretty good. I just put a Magnaflow on mine and it was about the same - sounds good, but even with the stock resonator and cat it's pretty loud. I don't mind, but my wife doesn't like it. It seems like it mellowed out a lot after a week, so I'm happy with it. Only thing I don't like is that it cut my gas mileage by quite a bit. The car sounds better so I floor it more often just to hear the sound!

i like the sound. the idea of it being a fart can in the back of your mind will eventually gnaw at you until you decide to change it. let it rock for a few weeks...then decide.

I actually think it sounds really good. Sounds like the right amount of noise. No rasp is good. Looks, Ehh not a big fan, but sound.. I'm on board.

I don't mind the sound of it to be honest! And the fitment is actually pretty good with the cutout of the bumper. I do prefer the look of my stromung a little more though.

looks pretty good to me, be nicer if it had a rolled edge but for free I'd rock something like that
