It is safe to say that the Konis are good. | | | 06-25-2008, 03:57 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | sweet thanks harold! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-25-2008, 05:50 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | I have Koni's, but I didn't reply because they are different from those. A lot of people use koni inserts with different shock bodies.. The only problem with that set may be that they are using cheaper springs to keep the price down.... | | | 06-25-2008, 05:53 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | which set do you have? __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-25-2008, 05:56 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Double adjustable. The ones with the adjustment on the top and bottom. No need to have to spin the shock body for the second adjustment. I think only tckline offers those though. | | | 06-25-2008, 06:08 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | hmm very nice! thanks! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 08-22-2008, 06:56 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Globally Posts: 1,162 | Quote: Originally Posted by mohaughn Double adjustable. The fronts they use a VW Corrado Strut insert which is shorter in length but not dampening ability. Lot of info on said set is available on www.e30tech.com But that is e30 specific. As far as the fronts go I am unsure. Also if you google Koni 1150-5006 it will list alot of stores that sell them. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
