Default Side skirts installed!

Today my Dad and I installed "lux" skirts on my '95 ti.... here are some shots of the install.

Here's a shot with the template on the car... It's pretty handy, you attach it to the car and just drill at the specific locations.

after the initial holes were drilled we used incrementally larger bits till the desired aperture was achieved.

For the bottom holes, it was better to drill those once the skirt was on the car.

All I can say is it took us 2 hrs to complete and it really does finish off the look of the car... Even though I had painted sides, the skirts really take it to completion.

Apparently I don't know what side skirts are. Both pictures look the same to me in the before and after pictures.

Btw, your driver side headlights is angled weird and is sticking out at the point closest to the grill.

Haha, i know, my before pic isnt that good I should change it.... I had the body panels color matched, and now have put the skirts over the panels. Does this help for a comparison?

PS: Get a drop. Must be your wheels, but you have a nasty amount of gap.

Ha, I just did this too! Not even two weeks ago, I installed the M3 twisty skirts I got from Marv...

I agree, it adds a very nice finished look, and it would have been much easier if I had a nice lift to put the car on like that one...

The car got 328is brakes on Friday... the calipers and the caliper bracket needs to be changed in order to fit the rotors/pads.

p.s. "nasty gap" works fine for me, the car came from the factory that way, and it's a d.d.. Added the skirts because non-skirted e36's just don't work for me.

yes.. calipers, bracket, and rotor are all you need to upgrade your brakes and keep it factory.

They make a BIG difference Al.. you will love them
