Default 318ti.org mentioned in a NYTIMES Automobile blog

It's a piece based off the roundel logo thread.

http://wheels.blogs.nytimes.com/2010...es/#more-37637

I did search, but If this has been mentioned, please delete.

Cheers

Cool. They gave us credit instead of worldofbmw.com.

I copied it to the announcement section so it would be on the home page.
I'll close it and reference this thread.

Funny how the author cites us and not the site where the post came from. 318ti.org is now the defacto source of information.

Gotta love the internet.

My thoughts exactly.

I went to the site www.worldofbmw.com to try and find the source and Gee Whiz, there is no search feature on their site, I spent my obligatory 2 minutes there and gave up because I could not find that info anywhere on their site, so I figure the editors of NY Times must have given up that easy too and cited the org instead.

SNOWti deserves an award just for digging that up!

Thanks SNOWti, I just love those little tidbits of historical info.

Wow, thats awesome. I saw that same thing over on autoBlog except the org wasn't sited for anything...

And the roundel is the symbol for C.G. (center of gravity), which may be why BMW spends xx amount of money to lower their C.G. than remove other weight.... jk, but seriously
