It's a Sport model, black exterior and black/gray leather/cloth interior with factory trunk spoiler and M3 mirrors. Car has about 165k mi, I am the second owner since about 32k miles. Garaged in winters, so no rust. Few scratches and door dings, but nothing extraordinary for a car of this vintage. I'm a BMW mechanic and car had only the best of car over the years. LubroMolly 5W30 synthetic oil changes every 3k miles, RedLine synthetic fluids everywhere else. Inspection I and IIs done at proper intervals. Complete cooling system overhaul less then a year ago, including cooling manifold in the back. Maintenance list in general is too long to list here.. Mods are as follows: - real OE clear lights all around, - real OE glass headlights, - Bilstein Sport shocks, - BavAuto springs, - Sparco srtut brace, - '95 M3 lower control arm bushings, - Myele solid ball joints, - Cold air intake, - Dinan automatic transmission chip, - Superchips DME performance reporgram, - Bosal catback with Ansa resonated tips (no droning) - 17" Style 73 wheels with 225/45-17 tires all around (less then 15k mi) - TarOx venter front rotors with Textar ceramic pads, - new brake calipers with stainless steel lines all around, - Blaupunkt CD, - more stuff I am probably forgetting.. The only two things that are wrong with the car are: - headliner is sagging a little in the rear; brand new factory headliner is included. - front M3 bumper is cracked; new unpainted M3 bumper is included. The car was driven by my wife most of the time, hence the automatic. We have two other BMWs (wagons) that are more suitable for the kids, so the ti just sits in a garage under cover; in the last three years I put less then 5k mi on it and it's not right. It deserves a good loving owner who will drive her more often then we do. I am not sure about pricing, but thinking something along the lines of $3,700 give or take. If anyone seriously interested, please let me know: I will need to get it out, give it a nice bath and take some pictures. For now I'm testing the waters. Thanks! Your car is worth more than that. I sold mine for $4500 without a problem; and while I did good maintenance, my car was pretty much stock at 121,000 miles. What a steal. If I weren't leaving I would buy it... Best of luck __________________ B.M.W. = Be My Wife | | | 07-15-2010, 03:08 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Burlington, NJ Posts: 560 | Quote: Originally Posted by Recon427 $3700?!?!!? Mine was a '95 non sport 318tiA 138,500 miles purchased for $3000.00 in Jan '09. __________________ 1996 318ti - 2000 Z3 2.3 - 2012 MINI Cooper Hatchback | | | 07-15-2010, 04:35 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: The Atomic City Posts: 318 | Interested! Plus, need to replace the //M door moldings, as they are starting to pop out. Will probably paint and install the bumper at the same time. Stay tuned. | | | 07-21-2010, 01:43 AM | #10 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Amish Country, PA Posts: 20 | sell it to me NOW!!! let me know when u make a decision as i am on a hunt. have 96 to with cali package and 325iT wagon need a spare vehicle as ti needs some attention due to crappy materials they used in their interior. need seats, door panels, etc, want to fix for daughter, i also have spare cali top in great cosmetic shape, needs motor. | | | 07-27-2010, 03:09 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: The Atomic City Posts: 318 | Still on hold? | | | 08-24-2010, 01:36 AM | #12 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 65 | 50/50 chance that it will be available.
