I've done some searching around and I'm getting mixed responses. Some say it sits higher or lower to much or too little bounce due to spring rates etc etc. So on to my question which is in 2 parts by the way. So I have a 95 ti with an s52 swap and my stock suspension is blown. I'm having trouble finding an inexpensive solution I'm guessing becuase theres not as much as a market for out hatches? With that said a friend of mine who is into VW's told me about Vmaxx and how the VW guys rave about them. So will the vmaxx coilover kit for a Z3 fit? If it does what are the pro/cons to a z3 specific kit? And lastly has anyone actually used these on there Ti or even ridden in one and what is your opinion on vmaxx? | | | 05-27-2011, 10:15 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | Fit.. yes. They seem to offer two options. One for the 1.8 1.9 then one for the 6cly motors. As far as quality. VW guys dont seem to care about performance as much as show. So im sure they will slam yo car, but as far as them being good. Im not so sure. Also im sure the rear spring rates are the same for all of the kits they sell. Seems like cheap C/O companies like to do that. __________________ 99 black ti sport | | | 05-28-2011, 12:52 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: mbsc Posts: 570 | can tell you from experience that i'm running the BC Racing BR Type coilovers from my 97 e36 318i sedan on my 97 Z3. Considering that the rearend on the z3 and ti uses the same trailing arm, i would deduce that the Ti would be the same...no issues. | | | 05-28-2011, 05:24 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | just checked the V-maxx site, you could probably get a set of H&R race springs and Bilstein sport shocks for not much more money, if you get them for a 323ti it should match up perfectly | | | 06-04-2011, 08:06 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: reading Posts: 56 | just to update my own thread i decided to pull the trigger on a set of PSS9's. do it right do it once. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | Can these fit my 95ti? | hicksr8 | Wheels and Tires | 6 | 08-05-2010 12:35 PM | FS 95TI | jpjr | US and North America | 3 | 01-22-2010 04:55 AM | Looking for a 95ti | 318killer | US and North America | 0 | 10-19-2008 08:15 PM | WTB Oil pan for 95ti m42 | ssprint | US and North America | 3 | 11-19-2007 04:15 PM | 95ti | ill_black_assassin | eBay and Craig's list listings | 0 | 02-17-2007 10:52 PM | |
