Essentially the difference between base and
sport is in the springs, dampers/struts/shocks, and anti sway bars. The
sport is about .5 - .75 inches lower, has slightly stiffer springs and thicker sway bars (+1mm rear, +2mm front). No difference between sport/club
sport. Struts/shocks are accordingly shorter to accommodate shorter spring stance. You need to replace the shocks at the same time as springs if you lower it. You can freshen the handling by replacing the shocks w/ Konis, Bilsteins, Boge (stock eq.).
The M3 is a different animal. No components will swap in except the front springs which are weighted for a 6cyl. The sway bars attach diff than our ti's. The rear susp is is a different design as well, shared with the MZ3 line. Some people have swapped in an s52 along with the complete M front suspension then swapped in an MZ3 rear.
