I'm glad I don't have to do this every weekend... What do you think? __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 03-21-2006, 07:19 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. I'm thinking of throwing in some HID fogs when I put my old bumper back on. __________________ | | | 03-21-2006, 07:28 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: UK Posts: 312 | very nice mendi, I really like the rims you have on your ti, do you know what they are? | | | 03-21-2006, 07:33 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Looks great. I'm thinking of throwing in some HID fogs when I put my old bumper back on. | I mounted the ballasts right on top of the fog lights attached to the bumper. There is a good space for them. I used double sided heavy duty tape. Make sure to clean the area with alcohol before you do it. It's holding on quite well. I fell in love with my E46 HIDs so I had to have it for my ti. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 03-21-2006, 07:48 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | CSL rims Quote: Originally Posted by halek very nice mendi, I really like the rims you have on your ti, do you know what they are? | Thanks, they are 18inch CSL rims. __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 03-21-2006, 07:52 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | M3 Lip Quote: Originally Posted by AlaskaBlue Looks great. It turned out very good. Half an hour of work and $65 later, I can't complaint. Thanks for the nice comments guys! __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 03-21-2006, 10:29 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Vancouver, B.C. On top of the fogs would make for a clean, stealthy install; I hate having to mount ballasts where you can see them from the engine bay all the time. __________________ | | | 03-21-2006, 11:10 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | You are welcome. The place is so good that not even water gets there after driving the car while is raining. Also, make sure to use silicone (or electrical tape) for the connectors. The connectors come with a rubber thing to cover it but a friend of mine got a little bit of moisture and the fogs were not coming on. After he got them dry, they came on fine. Good luck! __________________ 1989 E30 325is 5s Coupe Zinnoberrot 1991 E30 325i Auto Coupe Schwartz 1991 E30 325is 5s Coupe Hellrot 1995 318ti E36 Alpine White III DASC (RIP) 1996 328i 4Dr Artic Silver (RIP) 1999 M3 Estoril Blue Metallic RMS Vortech SC 2001 325i E46 Alpine White - Sports Package (SOLD) 2005 E46 M3 Coupe SMG | | | 03-21-2006, 11:12 PM | #10 | aka Stabby Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Mead, CO Posts: 5,336 | looks good mendi! how much do you charge? my ti really could use a hand wash and wax __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal ball joints, bavauto RSMs w/reinforcements, e30 3.73 LSD & halfshafts, supersprint cat-back exhaust, turner rear sway bar reinforcements, IE poly subframe & RTABs + camber/toe kits, powdercoated e36 32x front calipers, sport mirrors, H&R 28mmF/19mmR sway bars, x-brace, auto solutions SSK w/poly bushing upgrade, BMW CD43 head unit, DICE HD Radio w/iPod integration and "stealth" HD antenna, staggered style 68s, orange electronic TPMS, leather arm rest, JT Designs metal undertray acquired and awaiting install: heated seat kit, cali top switch relo, lumbar support kit, park distance control kit, heated washer nozzle kit, m-coupe rear subframe, trailing arms, differential, and halfshafts, m-coupe front/rear brakes with master cylinder, under hood light kit, mud flaps, rear sun blind, auto-dimming rear view mirror, tilt steering wheel retrofit, apexcone 5000K HIDs with 55W ballasts 2002 X5 4.4 Sport Package, 53.5k miles Current Mods: e46 m3 steering wheel | | | 03-22-2006, 01:06 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2004 Location: Tracy, California Posts: 473 | Thanks man!
