WTB: 3 button alarm fob

Does anyone have a 3 button alarm fob they are willing to part with? Please PM me with any offers.

Thanks in advance!

The year matters, as well as the style, the 95's require a chip no-longer available... :(

Dave

please elaborate...
he is requesting the early 3 button....the 96 on is a 2 button correct?
I have a 3 button FOB on the way. I'm hoping it works with an uncut alarm/keyless I got from a 95. I understand there is programming procedure for it to work as listed in my projects 101 book by Wayne Dempsey.
What chip is needed?

Yeah, I have a 3-button remote bought off ebay on the way now... I have posted a link to the programming procedure in the knowledge base post about alarms... I will update the post when I attempt it...

If you have the Pre 96 you should have an Alpine alarm.

It has the small black with 3 buttons running vertically.

If you pop it open you find a small (1/4 in square chip plugged in with a number on it. They were sold in sets one for the fob and one for the alarm box and a spare chip if you had two remotes.

On my car built 10/95 only the matching chip unit will work with my car, I've tried a couple to see. Using th earlier procedure.

There was a guy on Ebay selling a after market plug and play setup for early BMW's and the couple folks I know that have them like them better than the original.
