Once they are off/apart, use a pipe wrench to get the old studs out and install new ones.

The switch is just above the brake pedal. Auto/ manual I think is the same switch; however if you have cruise the switch has two sets of contacts in it.

The M subframe is the same track width as the ti and other E36 cars with the multi-link suspension.

The non-M Z cars have a wider track, to accommodate narrower tires under the same Rear quarters.
