coud be the center mount bearing #11 on that diagram i had bad vibration issues coming from that unit on my old e30 i had to get the whole mount as well {part #12 on diagram] cause the bearing is annealed in a rubber bush

They can be replaced individually if you have a good machine shop. Driveshaftshop.com is about an hour from me, they said they could do it.

Check/replace the driveshaft center support. It sounds like the driveshaft is jump-roping under load.
