Default Is it Rice?

This has been bothering me for a while and I wanted to know everyones opinion. Most people describe rice as 'pimped out' cars with no go, but what about fast cars with retarded stickers and body kits? Some mild cases Ive seen are a Subaru STi and a Celica alltrac turbo with bad window tint, fart cans, and A pillar gauges. The STi is fast but sounds like a honda, and the celica sounds and looks pretty good except for the fart can noise and those retarded gauges. These are just mild examples but Ive seen Evos with retarded body kits and covered in stickers. Do you consider these cars ricers?

I wouldn't call them rice if they have done mods to the performance side, plus it is rarely the car, but more the less the attitude thier owners have. I only call people ricers when they talk about how bad thier car is, then talk crap about how thier civic with a fartcan and maybe an intake will beat you.....then they say something went wrong when they get whipped by my 200hp stock sedan.....

IMO, Rice is anything that is done to a car without understanding why it is done, or doing it because someone else thinks it's cool.

If you supercharge a car, but have no concept of why that makes it faster then it is rice.

If you put an aluminum wing on your car because you genuinly think it looks good then it's not rice.

I would consider my first car to be rice, even though almost everything I did made it faster, I had no clue why it made it faster. Everything I did was because someone else told me it's what I should do.

What kind of STI are YOU thinking of? They sure as hell don't sound like a Honda...

Mitsu Evo8 and Subie STI are a whole 'nother level of rice. It's just sad that they market a car with such high potential to ****s who are obsessed with The Fast and The Furious.

Oh yea, and they live their life a 1/4 mile at a time. FOR PINK SLIPS
