Yeah, I could see how someone would mis-read your quote, particularly in this thread.
But, I also admitted to street racing, should I be kicked off the forum? My experience happened over ten years ago.
You know what, we all do stupid things at one point or another. I think its our job as either having experienced or insight to a subject to inform others. Sometimes this gets done through flamming them, other times through true words of wisdom. I think that honestly you should go so far as to suggest that someone gets kicked from a forum. Maybe Jean learned something and his views have changed from this thread, would that still warrant him getting the boot?
Just some words of wisedom.

True, i admitted to drag racing myself in high school, should i get banned? I'm not trying to start anything, but people do stupid things. I learned the hard way and regret ever doing it. It's just when your a teenager you don't think straight, anyway it's not like drag racing is ever gonna end.

and everyone learns their lessons at some point in time. i bet a lot of people here are guilty of street racing of some sort. but no one should get banned for it. thats why we simply discuss things on the forum. for others help or oppinions.

yeah, pro street racing arguments just wont win.

There is a time and place for that, and it isn't the street.

go to a racetrack with hardcore racers and find out how fast fast is.
i think most car guys go thru the phase of street racing hopefully
they get thru without anyone getting hurt. sanctioned racing makes street racing
look like grade school games. i challenge you to go out to a sanction racetrack
and see how fast you are.
