Default Group Buy: Simpson Hybrid 3 Point Head Restraint System

Hi everyone, I've been working with Simpson Racing to put together a group purchase for their Hybrid Head Restraint System, as I've mentioned here before. Here are the details for any one interested.

The Hybrid Head Restraint is FIA approved and is tested and shown to be compatible with 3-point harnesses used by Car Club enthusiasts and High Performance Driving Experiences. This allows Driving Instructors, Auto Manufacturing Test Engineers, and other cars with 3-point harnesses to have added protection. Additional details can be found in the attached document.

Features Include:
• FIA Approved
• High quality carbon fiber construction
• Low profile. No high back to hook on the bars on exit
• Multiple load paths to dissipate head loads
• Buckle attachment in front. No bulky straps underneath
• Molded seat pad and installation manual

MSRP: $1095.00 (+$8 FIA cert)

Special Group Price: 30 units or more
Option A: Hybrid $928 + $8.00 FIA Cert. = Total $936.00
Option A is for those new to head restraints. Price includes Seat Protector Pad.

Option B: Hybrid $876 + $8.00 FIA Cert. = Total $884.00
Option B is for those already running a head restraint. Price includes Seat Protector Pad.

Sales tax will be charged for customers shipping to North Carolina, Texas,
California and Indiana.

Offer expires in 60 days. Shipping is included if group orders are received in quantities of 15 or more.

A Simpson customer service representative will call you for credit card information when the orders are processed. They will also help if you would like to upgrade to the M6 Quick Connect Posts (see attachment) during that call.

From Simpson:

The testing data that we have is 3500 Newtons of neck tension when tested with only 3 point belts and a helmet. When the same test was performed with 3 point belts, a helmet and a Hybrid, testing was at 1200 Newtons, which is motorsport safety level (SFI) of tension.

Group buy ends 11/24/2016, so make sure to get your orders in ASAP! Remember, you have to either call your order in or send an email, the code doesn't work on their website.

Most of us spend more than this on a set of tires. Do yourself a favor and spend it on something that can save your life.
