I found a 1994 325 swap and I just killed my 97 1.9 in my Ti. Would the wiring from OBDII to ODBI be a nightmare to do? What was your experience with your swap? Any info. would be helpful.

I don't know about difficulty but you wouldn't be able to get the car inspected in most states

Its not hard to do any of these swaps. Most is covered in my write up on bimmerforums for OBDII to OBDI.

Just beware, by putting a 94 engine in a 96 chassis your building a orphan, if you ever sell it and any subsequent buyer can't license it because of smog they can come back on you and get their money plus trouble back... LOng sad story been there done that...
Sold a 2500 dollar truck that ended up costing me 3500 to get out from under after the sale.

Old projects never die, they just get put on hold and get larger budgets...

Hauling it out of storage:

Fixing up some of the wiring with the harness from the parts car, Auto to Manual conversion, Fog light installation, Electrochromatic Mirror (E32), EWS Bypass, OBD2 to OBD1 tweaks, etc.

The "new" M50 cluster has bumped my odometer up by 50,000 miles

M54B30 Crankshaft and pistons

M54B30 Camshafts and trays

Seals, rings, and gaskets

My aim is to be driving a 318ti with a M50B30 by next summer.

At least it will qualify for collector's plates now!

Got very lucky this weekend, I went to the junkyard looking for some heated Subaru seats, and it turned out the 318i they had was actually a 318ti.

I grabbed pretty much the entire 318ti interior for spare parts. Now I can restore one headliner while I use my other.

Two trips later it all made it home. I had to take the Trans Am to haul the headliner...

The interior is officially done.

As for the engine, I ripped it apart and realized I needed to get it bored out.

M50B32 here I come....

Bored out to 86.5mm ready for JE 297172 pistons.

The head is going out for a valve job next.
