I wonder if they're even DOT approved. And hopefully they dont get hot enough to catch on fire. heard some horror stories about LED tail lights.

Hmm... it seems like "Swapped TI" and "romanescobar" are the same people...

Swapped TI made his account on 8/9, soon after cracker red posted on romanescobar's profile page.

Steve, are they from the same IP?

i thought the whole thing about LED is that it uses less power and creates less heat.

this is true, however, i have read some horror stories where the LED setup was bad and was not done correctly with sufficiant resistors for as many as there were LEDs on the board. Caused some kind of short or something and created lots of heat and started a fire next to the carpet in the trunk, and BAM car is on fire .

I'm starting to think this guy is real bogus. Too p***y to come back on since he has had problems with members in the past. Or maybe it burned his ti.

+1 good observation Patrick. He even selectively replies/ignores the same way romanescobar does.

I have been eying these on ebay for quite a while now. I am looking for some tail lights to rid myself of the horribly hideous yellow. I am between this and BMW Schwag's OEM clears. I am waiting on pictures to decide. Please post them!
