I remember a couple of years ago someone on bimmerforums was selling an s14 itb and an adapter plate to make them work on an M42/M44. Wish I had bought it, he only wanted around $400.

I believe that swap would have the reverse effect compared to doing the M50 manifold.

The E30 manifold was geared for more lowerend torque, while the E36 manifold is better breathing.

I don't believe the M47 crank has to be machined to work. Gizmo from bfc put his in an M44 block, and I don't recal him needing custom work on the crank.

Tuning isn't necessarily the hardest part of a supercharger. Belt alignment and manifold are pretty hard to get right.

Without tuning, if someone were to buy the kit they could tune it themselves...

Give it time guys, I doubt the DASC was put together overnight.

A stopped race is really more of a drivers race. Doing a rolling or high speed start like they were is a better comparison of the car's hp/speed.

I do agree going to the drag strip would be great...
