I used that combo because I wanted stock ride height (maybe a bit lower) but didn't want to pimp my ride. Anyway, my TI is my winter beater so I don't really give a ****.

Very high quality car, but with a name like VW, it never got the chance to compete against MB, BMW, etc.

I think you'll be very happy with that setup. I love mine! I could probably have handled something stiffer (I'm used to my other car...), but it's fine for the city driving that I do.

I'm very happy with the HD-Mtechnics springs setup. Not too low and not SUV height!

Unless you track the car heavily, I think coilovers are a bit much for street (not to mention $$$).
