Definetely different, that's for sure. __________________ 1995 318TI base. 95 2.5L from 325IS. S50 cams+pistons, e36 M3 front brakes. H&R race springs F+R. They actually aren't that bad. They aren't better than the euro style tail lights, but they are a step from the stock. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. You couldn't make a turn without seeing them on a car. So I've grown on them. But if I had a choice, I would rather go with LED's, or even smoked LED's. But they don't make LED tails for ti's, do they? __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Regardless, they were made popular by retards with $8 fart cans, primer gray, cut springs on their civics, I'm pretty sure. To each his own though, but if I passed someone on the road with these things on any BMW, I would give a thumbs down... | | | 08-25-2008, 08:53 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Well I'm not really sure where it really originated. All I know is that it's a common sight here. But, they became really popular on chevy trucks and other american cars. Every mexican had it on their chevy truck or van (yes, I said van :P). We have a lot of mexicans here in Texas (nothing against them, and no offense intended). __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
