The front suspension can be considered the same as a 318 coupe/sedan. The rear is similar to the Z3 (e30 trailing arm suspension) but I think it uses a different length shock etc. Bilstein, Koni and KYC offer shocks and H&R, Bilstein, BavAuto and Eibach offer the springs.

What is socker?

The look of a spring has little to do with how it will perform in your car. Get sport springs made for a 4 cyl not a 6 cyl in the front. The rear is unique to the Ti.

z3 roadster front strut 4cyl 31 31 1 091 703 & 704

compact,touring, loon front strut 4cyl 31 31 1 091 773 & 774

the e36coupe/cab front strut and the z3coupe have different front struts in both model type and cylinder variation

bit of a minefield for those who are unsure what matches to what ..
