Help! Stalls on start!

Hey everyone,
I've never had any serious issues w/ my car. Friday after work, I drove home and parked it. I didn't start it again until this evening. I started it, and it immediately died. I tried again and got the same result. The third time I started it and reved it up a little - it stayed running as long as I kept the RPM at 2.5 or 3K, but it died as soon as I let off the gas. I've been searching old threads, and this seems to happen to other people and often it is a sensor. Since it's Sunday night right now, is there anything anyone can think of that I can check myself without a code reader?

what engine do you have?

do you know a little about engines or would you like a pic?

I think it may be your ICV.
