Arrow Style 42's!

Hi guys,
After weeks of lurking i'm finally posting something, lol.
Anyway... I just got a TI recently and am now looking for some 17"
I found this ad the other day and was wondering whether or not the tires that come with the rims would be to big for a TI? Also the tire sizes are different from front to back, will that affect anything? Do you guys think $1000 is reasonable for the set?
Here's the link... http://toronto.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...QAdIdZ28154350
Any help will be greatly appreciated

P.S.: What is the stock wheel size on a 95 Ti?

Those wheels have a 20 mm offset, a 74mm centerbore and. e36's have a 35-40mm offset and a 72.56mm centerbore. You'll need to run 215/40/17 tires and hubcentric reducer rings. On top of that, you'll need to roll the rear fenders and if the car is lowered like mine, you'll still probably rub over bumps.

Thanks for the help!

What kind of drop+setup do you have on the Ti with the 42's BTW?

I have style 5's... same offset,size,etc.

I run 235/40's on mine with a minor rear fender roll with H&R sports and Bilstien sports... i still rub quite a bit, but not too badly when im by myself.

but its not harshing up tires with the inner lip rolled down, make sure you get the roll done first, i made the mistake once and ruined my $800 tires because the sharp inner lip.

I seemed to run into a little more trouble than Jess though and he is even lower than i am, which to this day i still can't figure out why his fit so much better...
