Has anyone ever had a problem with this? they look pretty easy to install how much should someone pay for them I saw some on ebay for about $20US for two. Know of any good websites that have good prices for stuff like that? Is the hood and trunk the same size? I think so. | | | 02-14-2005, 02:58 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Cola. I think it might be bigger (don't go jumping on me if I'm wrong... key word is "think"). I was at a Best Buy one day and when I was done shopping I came back and my trunk emblem was swiped off clean... except for a scratch from a flathead or key that they used to pry it off... however the scratch is hard to see with an emblem in place. Ticked me off though.... and if I find the guy I'll kill him ![icon_2gun](http://www.318ti.org/forum/images/smilies/icon_2gun.gif) .... j/k.... eheemm...... *under breath* "or not." | | | 02-14-2005, 03:01 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Cola. I don't think they'll stick. You gotta have the rubber too. Very easy to do. I just used a credit card to start prying them off then used a screwdriver and a rag to finish taking them off. | | | 02-14-2005, 05:19 PM | #5 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | I Bought 2 For $20 Bucks Off Ebay And Were Happy With Them,i Got The Black Carbon Fiber Ones Insyead Of The Standard Blue. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds ![rockon](http://www.318ti.org/forum/images/smilies/icon_rockon.gif) ![](image.php?s=03248d363b2facb8e187261edb71590a&u=912&type=sigpic&dateline=1173829886) www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 02-14-2005, 05:22 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Posts: 93 | of all places, the dealer... i had to get one for the front of my car. since i had to go to the dealer for another part, i asked about the emblem and got a price of $12 each. i didn't seem to think that was too bad. | | | ![Reply](http://www.318ti.org/forum/images/buttons/reply.gif) | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
