CD Changer Error and display

I searched but could not find anything. My head unit works fine but when I hit the cd button all is says is cd error. I can eject the cd case just fine etc.. but it will not play.

Lastly my head unit has no display. It is there I should say but you can barely see it. However it seems like when it is really cold it works fine. Anyone know what this is?

Sorry, not much help here but a free bump.

If you like the stock look and the CD changer is not kaput, prices on CD43 units have come down along with a whole lot of new ones on the market. If the changer is dead seems like good reason to upgrade the whole ICE system.
