True or False? BTW, there will be a DASC unit for sale shortly. So dont worry guys, you can still save up | | | 04-13-2008, 04:39 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | wikipedia how AC works in general... your answer will follow. It will still use slightly more gas with AC on at or above 60mph. To put it in perspective though, the aerodynamic drag from having your windows rolled down will kill your gas mileage much worse at 60+ than having your AC on. Anyway.. what's a few pennies versus sweatin your ass off while you're driving? I always have my windows down. F**k it! I'm just cool like that. __________________ | | | 04-13-2008, 09:28 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | I always have my windows down. My average speed is 80mph. Ive been driving 70mph lately though. Yea i know its more drag but whatever, i like having my windows down. Plus, i put my system up pretty loud, it sounds so damn clear it seems like i dont even have the windows down at all. I can't hear the wind at all. I wished our back windows worked with a button. I would have it open so that any air that goes in can escape from the back windows. But i dont want to be getting in and out of the back seat. Also for some reason, for me to feel a good cold breeze i would need to have my AC at 4. That's gas right there son. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
