I have another post on this site parting out my entire car, but I want to post this specifically. I'm sure someone out there has a slushbox automatic ti and wants to make it a 5 speed instead. This conversion is insanely expensive new, and even if you buy used parts from a junkyard or something, it'll still cost you upwards of $3000, I know, my shop has done plenty of them both ways. I have this car just sitting and I loved it and babied it so much, it breaks my heart to see it just sitting. I'd like to find someone who can put its parts to use....and one more 5 speed is always a good thing I have every single part you'd need for an automatic to 5 speed conversion and I'll part with it for CHEAP. The clutch is relatively new, around 40k on it. The entire car, including the trans, clutch, and every other part included in this offer were babied and never EVER abused or beat on. No speed shifting, no slamming it into gear, absolutely NO popping or slipping the clutch, no attempted burnouts or chirping the tires, no suicide shifting, and every downshift was done correctly, matching Rs and heel and toeing. The entire assembly is in great shape and sadly, it's just sitting there. I'll ship it or you can pick it up, or I'd even be willing to meet you somewhere halfway maybe. I don't want it to just sit there and go to waste so I'm practically GIVING it away. SOMEONE out there must have a use for it, and you won't find one in better shape or one that was babied as much as this one. Please help me find my 5 speed a good home!!! You can e-mail me directly at s.h.i.c@comcast.net if you'd like. Let me know if anyone out there is interested!! | | | 11-14-2008, 04:40 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | email sent ^^ __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. It is VERY negotiable at this point....I want to see it go to a good home, not just sit there so I'll really work with you, I'm willing to really bend over and take it on this one for the love of the trans I took such good care of...I know how much it's worth, but it's getting to be worth less and less the longer it sits there and it's worth nothing and goes to waste if I hold out for tons of money, so I'm flexable, very much so. This is going to include pedal box, driveshaft, trans, clutch (which is basically new) flywheel, trans mount plate, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, fluid line......I think that's all you'll need off the top of my head, but if there's anything else be assured you'll get that too.
