I finished the O-Ring Tool and it is cutting perfect test groves so far. Here are a few pics of the gauges we will use in the new project. | | | 02-05-2009, 08:29 PM | #92 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Some more pics of the gauges. They are really sweet, stealthly looking, when off they are black, the flash of the camera kinda show the markings in the pics when they were not powered. Pics do not give the gauges justice, they really light up and glow nicely especially with no light. | | | 02-05-2009, 08:33 PM | #93 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Oceanside, CA Posts: 421 | Please accept my apologize. The only excuse I have is that I've been reading several threads in the "induction" section and ALL of them are about a turbo setup on an M42 or M44 but NONE gets all the way down to the end of it, drives it 20K or so miles and cames back saying the car pulls as strong as the first time... __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | 02-05-2009, 09:14 PM | #94 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | those guages look cool, does the pod fit in the spot of the two center climate control vents? | | | 02-05-2009, 09:14 PM | #95 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Quote: Originally Posted by lpcapital Please accept my apologize. I was a bit busy to get onto the forums and give you guys an update which could have made the project look abandoned. This is top priority, we want it done well so taking a bit of time. This project WILL be completed before too long. We will try to give a bit better feed back than saying it pulls strong after 20K, we will just say, it pulls strong after 30K We will do some dyno runs and give some more detailed feedback. | | | 02-05-2009, 09:20 PM | #96 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak those guages look cool, does the pod fit in the spot of the two center climate control vents? | Ya the gauges are strikingly sexy. We made these gauge panel for the e30 center climate control vents, I just used the panel to show the gauges. I will look to see how much modification is needed for the e36. In fact the owner of the project car who is my buddy, made mold for the gauge panels. | | | 02-11-2009, 03:40 AM | #97 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Rings and bearings are in, these suckers are real pricey We will start on the block soon, head is completed. | | | 02-12-2009, 06:28 PM | #98 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Gold Plated Turbo Head Gasket Yo | | | 04-02-2009, 04:46 AM | #99 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Bend, OR Posts: 237 | Sooooo any updates on this Turboready? | | | 04-02-2009, 04:56 AM | #100 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2007 Location: Rocky Hill, CT Posts: 1,065 | Quote: Originally Posted by John318ti Sooooo any updates on this Turboready? | X2 where you at? Where did I indicate that I was doing this only and had everything for it? If the wait is too long for you go to sleep and we will give you a buzz when its done, all you have to do is think of it as another tried and failed project for now LOL | | | 04-04-2009, 07:17 PM | #105 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ontario Canada Posts: 105 | Quote: Originally Posted by John318ti Come on Turboready!!! Honestly speaking, I don't have much redesigning to do, we had an e30 with the same m42 boosted and running very strong so this will be better because all the ground work was already done. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
