Thanks Cedric, your correction has proved that you do read.

1CivetDei2 - Gotcha, I agree it needs to go lower, just not tuck.

But it's so freakin hilarious!
And if you're that worried about others post count, I'll ask Steve to reset mine so you won't feel left out

Looks great spence! I'm loving mine too, the ride is obviously harsher than the stock stuff but man does it feel good. I'm going to get out there and lower mine some more one of these days.

Spence, what do you have your damping set to?

I had mine set at 17 at each corner and the ride was really bouncy and just didn't feel right. I just turned them up to 28/40 and, my goodness, the car feels absolutely amazing. There is no more bounciness, the car corners way better, and there is much less body roll. It feels amazing.

I think mine are at full softness right now and i don't think its that harsh at all. I mean you can tell coilovers are in but i've been in worse rides. I was thinking about making the dampening a little stiffer maybe i'll try out your settings and see how i like it. How much do you plan on lowering it more? Same specs you told me before?

p.s. the more i see those pics the more i realize i need new wheels and some spacers.AHH

I originally put mine at 22f and 17r and found that it didn't really feel right. I then changed it to 17 all around thinking that it would be a softer ride, all it did was make it bouncier and felt a bit sloppy through the turns. Setting up to 28 all around has made everything feel good. It's hard to describe but when you play with the settings you will feel it.

Yeah, I am going to lower it to the specs I told you. And yes, everytime I see my car now I wish I had some spaced out 17s.

cant believe I missed this thread completelly... LOL
nice going with the coils - both of you!

spider, can you drop the car ALL the way down and take a few photos... I'd love to see how low you can go.

I wanted Billstein PSS initially, but then I realized the only go down 1-1.75 F&R - so I think I'll go with H&Rs cause they'll do 1-2.5 F & 1-2.0 R.

I just wish I could find H&R Ultra Lows for for our cars... LOL

Yeah, I can do that. I was planning on lowering the rears in the next week or so anyway. I'd like to see how low it can go too.

Nooooooooooo don't do it! My car has Eibach Pro-Kit and Koni shocks and every time I drive on a road near Rutgers, my car hits the road. Though it's my butt strut (http://www.strong-strut.com/Butt-Strut.htm) that hits...

Marko, you wouldn't want to take out your soon-to-be-flippin-awesome-car would you?

I'm not going to leave it all the way down, the roads around College Park are horrible. But it wouldn't hurt to see how low it can get.

dude.. too late for that.
I got 100K on the current spring/shock set up & the front is SHOT!
In fact so much so that the car has a 'rake' look to it...

I bottom out at least once per day - up front!

In any case... I understand what you are saying - but I gots to have some coils (+ spacers too).. LOL

Down & Out FTW!
