I've talked to a few people who have put nitrous in their 4 banger and they highly advised against it. Their engines would blow before they would have a chance to empty their 10lbs bottle. Though I do know a few of the newer Jetta's that run a NOS are able to withstand the stress. I really can't point you to a thread, because I've only talked to the local supemobile owners.

I have a NOS Dry Kit Its a 50Lb shot and it makes a nice difference and no blown engine and ive gone thru 3 fill ups. I have a 10Lb bottle.
I think im going to sell it i need wheels really bad. if your interested ill give you a super good deal just pm me
