Default ACS pedals

has anyone installed these before? it looks like you have to drill into the pedal to install them, which I have no problem with, but how would I go about doing it? it looks like it might be an awkward position to take for so long, I'd probably have to hold the pedal still with one hand and drill with the other (probably with a block of wood behind it so I don't ruin the carpet)

I'd really rather not remove the pedals just to install those pads on them

anyone have any tips?

I know on at least the brake pedal the main rubber pad can come off the pedal lever without too much difficulty (I did it by accident) is that the part you drill into?

I'm pretty sure that you remove the rubber pad first and drill it straight to the metal, at least that's what I was planing on doing, plus the bolts have a washer and nut that go on the other end

wider than the original pedal? I'm not sure if it's wider, it looks like it's the same size

Probably the same.
I'm looking for a gas pedal with an extension on the left.

I just used the new pedals on top of the old one in the car for template to drill the holes. Didn't take off any pedal to save time and extra work. Just have to lie face down on the floor with the door open. My kit came with screws and small nuts for tightening in back of the pedals. Sorry Steven all pedals are same size as the factory ones.

Why not cement glue it, let it dry. Then take some boxing tape (not duct tape), and wrap it around the pedal and the metal. Then drill.

I'd rather not risk damaging the pedals trying to drill through it

Iv fitted metal m style \ schnitzer ones to loads of bimmers- just hold the new pedal on top of the actual pedal (rubber bit removed) and drill through with a small drill, widen up if needed then do up the little allen key bolts- takes about 10 mins max! I know its not nice drilling through ur car but if for any reason you ever take then off the rubber bits cover the holes anyway... Just do it
