Default German or Jap I haven't a clue

I'm sure someone has done it, but I didn't see it on here and the one on jimmys540i page. How about those scary looking pictures of Bimmers you come across when searching the net ,or the one bad apple driving around your town. Sorry I can't post pictures from a Goverment computer. But check out this link of the Rattelsnake 318 TDS. and post some more of them poor Bimmers the wrong person got a hold of.

I'm pretty sure "Jap" is considered a racist term, might want to consider changing the title

here's one of a ti I found, love how he was too lazy to just cut some of the diffuser to get the exhaust to fit

and here's another one that seems to have mini rocket pods on the spoiler

tiFreak is correct.

Meanings of words can change over time as we know, and at one time before World War II Jap was short for Japanese and it was acceptable back then, but during and after World War II several disparaging neologisms were attempted and thus the term became derogatory and was considered offensive to Japanese Americans.

Although I believe that your intent was not meant to be offensive as you were trying to be witty, it can be misconstrued as a disparaging remark. So, as a general rule it is always much better not to abbreviate any word and just say the proper word, Japanese.

Besides, you did not shorten “German” in your title so why would you abbreviate “Japanese”?

I thought so, I figured I'd speak up since I closed the original off-topic thread with an apparently racist remark that I didn't feel was offensive

I hate everyone equally...

when are people going to get over racism as words.... if your at a klan meeting, yeah your racist or if beating the snot out of someone cause of their color, racist again.

words are all in perception, and i don't percieve any words to be very racist anymore. Im caucasian, so call me a cauc-sucker... Ill laugh. Id give more examples but don't want people to get all testy about it...
