Like a 10psi. You can only boost a tiny bit lower then the spring psi but can double the boost of the spring. I run a 15psi which if I put boost to lower port I get 10psi. If I put boost to the top port I can go over 30psi. I have a 8psi spring here I was saving for Yoda but you can have it if you need it. It fits all Tial style wastegates | | | 09-19-2009, 09:38 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx Put a small spring in there. It fits all Tial style wastegates | the wastegate came with a 15psi spring and is adjustable from 10-15 and another 14psi spring and they said that can be adjusted from 10 - 29psi but idk maybe ill use the 8psi just to be safe and not over boost __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 09-20-2009, 02:51 AM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Jean H.318TI the wastegate came with a 15psi spring and is adjustable from 10-15 and another 14psi spring and they said that can be adjusted from 10 - 29psi but idk maybe ill use the 8psi just to be safe and not over boost | If you pu in the 8psi spring then your boost range is arounf 4 ~ 16psi. I would put the 14psi spring in there so you would have 9 ~ 28. 9psi your daily driving boost pressure and jump to 15psi for passing on highway, since I don't condone street racing anymore, but still do it when the conditions are right Are you using a manual or electronic boost controller? Also 8psi spring is yours if you want it. It's the blue Tial small sring that fits in the middle of the big spring. Let me know and I will ship it to you Last edited by xxxJohnBoyxxx; 09-20-2009 at 02:59 AM. | | | 09-20-2009, 04:25 AM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | Quote: Originally Posted by xxxJohnBoyxxx If you pu in the 8psi spring then your boost range is arounf 4 ~ 16psi.
