I onoly have the EWS module that goes behind the glove box Last edited by BMW_Hatchback; 09-26-2009 at 09:46 PM. | | | 09-26-2009, 09:45 PM | #189 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | shown here | | | 09-26-2009, 10:21 PM | #190 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Seattle Posts: 181 | You don't need the black box, I don't even know what that is. Your EWS module was a white brick with a green sticker that says EWSII on it right? | | | 09-26-2009, 10:24 PM | #191 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | yes connected to the yellow connector behind glove box | | | 09-26-2009, 11:30 PM | #192 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Use the original black module and antenna from your ti. Use the ECU, WHITE EWS module, and key chip from the donor vehicle. The black module has to match the ring antenna and the white box has to match the key chip and ECU. Marv17 had the same problem, you don't swap out the black EWS module or the antenna. These are the only parts you need to swap out: Last edited by cooljess76; 09-26-2009 at 11:33 PM. | | | 09-27-2009, 12:27 AM | #193 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Use the original black module and antenna from your ti.
