if there is one thing i dislike about Japanese engines is the fact that theyre like an old prostitute, you gotta treat them like **** to get any pleasure out of them, meaning your gotta throw them around, smack them, call them obscenities, and choke them.
Yes, they're good engines but you gotta rev them like a mother****er!

No prob, Its all about your association, I work on track cars, and my club does Driving schools here in Portland at PIR. I end up tech inspecting a lot of cars and the stuff people drag in scares me sometimes. I mean, if your car is capable of 150 and you intend to drive it that fast, where is your freeking roll cage? LOL I mean do you really feel safe at a 130 plus in a 80's Civic with a K motor and 24 lbs of boost?

I inspected an OLD CVCC Honda civic that a guy had shoe-horned a wicked built K into with a big turbo and all the goodies. Without any reinforcement to the body. They had just cut the stock mounts out and welded the Acura mounts in. The thing was scary scary, It was on little 165x14 civic tires and he was smoking them everywhere. No cage, stock seats. It made tech but we had a bit of trouble getting any of the instructors to ride in it. Finally got a guy who took him aside and worked out the "rules" with him and they had a good day.

Cheers.

Dave..
