Car Fogging up issues

Hello everyone, I was just wondering does anyone else have this issue? My Ti fogs up like nothing else. The windows fog up like crazy and the rear is just retarted I can never see out of them? anyone else have these issues? It doesnt happen on my other cars just the ti? any tips? Thanks

It might be that you tracked a lot of snow into the car and now it is humid in there.

If that is the case, you need to dry out the interior.

Leave the windows and hatch open in the sun.

Is air recirculation turned on? It's on the HVAC panel along with the AC button.

Yes I have the recirculation function on, and I do that because the heat in the car isnt that great to begin with so that helps out a little. Rain, snow, dry, hot that car gets soooo freaking foggy.

Yeah, switch to fresh air.

Does your temp gauge get the the 1/2 way mark when you are driving?

Okay ill try that, and yes the temp goes half way and stays there never had a over heating problem.

Rain-X makes something for interior windows to cut down on the fog. I use it since one of my blend doors is stuck so I also use the recirculate option & I have yet to see a drop of fog inside.

While the recirculation function helps with heating, you're just recirculating your moist breath in the car, rather than introducing fresh air. Thus, the fogging.

If you're having heating issues, there are two recurring themes for the ti. First, air in the cooling system. Even if the temperature gauge is at 12 o'clock, there can be air in the system. The second theme is the fresh air flap at the end of the dash temperature dial cable. The end of the cable becomes loose, the flap doesn't completely close, and cold air continues to enter the car. Hmm, even when it's dry? You're not loosing or smelling coolant are you? A leaky heater core may make it a little more humid..

side rant: I hate newer cars, about 20 buttons for the hvac, gotta hit the temp button about 30 times to change temperature, once you hit the defrost it automatically turns AC off and I gotta turn it back on. Then again, most automatic devices seem automatically wrong to me..

Has the carpet been wet at all recently? It can absorb a ton of water, and if the car is always shut and such, it will never dry out. Also, the AC pulls moisture out of the air, so try running that too and see if the fogging goes away a bit.

Hey everyone thanks for all the great tips, I will start using fresh air and see how that goes. Weathers been ****ty so I cant leave the windows open but the first decent day Ill def do that. I'll put everything into good use and see how it goes from there =) thanks mucho
