Default ///M steering wheels retrim options

Hi Guys.

I've got a 97 mtech sport 318ti.

The leather on the steering wheel has had its days and am looking to give it a revival.

Just wanting to get a census of what leather options to go for.

So far im looking at either getting the wheel redone in black leather with red stitch or go for Alcantara.

Please state your positive/neg opinions/experiences.

Thanks guys.

Go alcantara, I drove a Dinan S3 M3 the other week with one and it was amazing. Hands down most comfortable steering wheel yet.

Alacantra wears way too quickly. I have a 330i ZHP, the wheel is an eyesore, kind of like one of those bald dogs?
