I stopped and took a few photos and got the contact info for the lot. I don't know what year, mileage, or what they're asking as they were closed when I stopped. The car looked decent from a distance but had some rough spots up close. If there is interest, I can follow up with some pics, lot contacts, and VIN. All info is still on my camera at home as I haven't had a chance to download all my photos from the trip. I am home in CA now so what I got is what I got. I have no association with the seller; just spreading the ti love. | | | 06-08-2010, 05:55 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Flowery Branch, GA, USA Posts: 97 | nothing.... Looks lowered too. | Good attention to detail. I hadn't noticed the difference in side skirts and front corners. I was overwhelmed by the fact that I saw a ti in LaPorte, IN. Must admit I am not a fan of the mirrors. What you may not have noticed is the "Powered by BMW" stickers below the side markers. A BMW powered by BMW... who would have guessed that? Maybe someone can rescue this one? | | | 06-09-2010, 08:32 AM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Newport RI Posts: 8 | Ass end is definitely lowered or it needs shocks, front emblem looks shady and the side view mirrors are tacky. Did they wire the turn signals on those mirrors? What are they asking for this? | | | 06-09-2010, 04:16 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Lake Forest, CA Posts: 48 | Quote: Originally Posted by stevensherman What are they asking for this? | I don't know the asking price - they were closed when I was there. Say's the same girl has owned it for the last 10 years and he has done the service for the last 8 years. Sounds like a good guy, he pointed out the parts that didn't match and that is was in a minor accident. He was very surprised to hear me calling from RI and already knowing the VIN #. | | | 06-09-2010, 10:31 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Lake Forest, CA Posts: 48 | Quote: Originally Posted by stevensherman He was very surprised to hear me calling from RI and already knowing the VIN #. | The influence of the mighty 318ti.org runs far and wide... Thanks for getting the additional info. I was curious, but not enough to actually call them as I'm not planning on buying a another ti anytime soon. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
