Anybody know who has the car without the side mouldings? I remember seeing a Red car and he took off the side mouldings and made it flush with the car, I thought it was a 323ti or a 328ti but now I cant find it. If anybody remembers the owner or where the pics are on the forum, please help! I know I saw the car here, just cant remember where to find it! Thanks! | | | 07-15-2010, 02:56 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I've seen it done several times, they just use body filler to make it flush and paint it, I honestly think the stock M-tech moldings look way better though, it flows better with the front and rear bumper moldings | | | 07-15-2010, 03:24 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: California Posts: 70 | OK, hopefully it will be easier to find a pic if several people have done it, thanks for letting me know. I was thinking of getting rid of the mouldings around the whole car. I am getting ready to repaint the whole thing, I want to see some pics again and make sure it looks as good as I remember. That will help me decide if it is worth the extra work. | | | 07-15-2010, 03:49 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | something like this? found it on google | | | 07-15-2010, 04:40 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: New Jersey Posts: 93 | I actually like the car with moldings better. That front bumper looks rather awkward without it. __________________ -Brandon- | | | 07-15-2010, 04:59 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | i think it looks like a honda without them | | | 07-15-2010, 07:06 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | yeah looks better with the moldins __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 07-15-2010, 08:29 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: California Posts: 70 | Thanks tifreak!
