Default original or custom ?

When i put the m42 into my car i had to get the secondary pipes made up and ended up with some ****ty work (which is the norm here) and i can feel the car literally choking under full throttle acceleration. So basically i'm either thinking of trying to get an original secondary pipe chopped a few inches behind the oxygen sensor bung and have the rest made up or order some bends and a 'y' and have a welder guy i know do it for me like this one
I'd rather try the first option due to it being far less headache but having it made with proper bends could be more beneficial in the end performance wise. Basically what i'm looking for is in the attached picture below. (gosh i know how to ramble on)

Try these guys: http://www.coneeng.com/

Look at their 2 into 1 collectors, and you can use those to form your y. Burns Stainless also does them, but they're more expensive for what is probably the similar stuff.

Also, I'm no exhaust expert, but in my opinion you should consider where the y goes as it's basically setting your secondary pipe length.

When I pulled the factory exhause off my ti I was a bit dissapointed at some the bends that were made, and how crushed the tubing was at some points. It seemed to me like there was a lot of room for improvement.

I'm going to buy some pipe and have it done by a friend of mine later, i took some measurements from my friends secondaries although from a different engine (beams 3sge) it should suit me fine

Great, post up some pictures when you're done.
