The motor has a hole in the block and condition of the head is unknown. Intake Manifold, wiring harness, coil pack, AC compressor, pwr steering pump, etc is all included. I also have the exhaust header from the donor engine, but it looks like the previous owner took a sawzall to one of the tubes. $200 or best offer to anyone who wants to come pick it up. I will give you everything. Just wanted to put it on the forum for anyone who needs inexpensive parts before I take the good stuff and scrap the block. I do have the old clutch and pressure plate though. It looks like the previous owner had just replaced it not too long ago. | | | 02-01-2012, 08:44 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Scranton/Wilkes-barre area PA Posts: 454 | ok i might be in contact with you about that in a few days. just trying to get a few other things sorted __________________ ***Derek*** ^^Lola^^ Pioneer radio/ Pioneer 6-Disk CD Changer/ JBL 601.1 Grand Touring Amplifier/ Bilstein Sport shocks/ Bilstein e36sedan springs/ Green LED Courtesy Lights Accident Counter: 3... | | | 02-01-2012, 09:00 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | Ok, sounds good. | | | 02-05-2012, 04:59 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: Southwest England Posts: 379 | for a moment there I got alll excited cos I thought by 'blown' you meant supercharged lol | | | 02-05-2012, 08:58 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | Yeah, sorry about that, I didn't think about that till later. Just trying to be honest so people know that the value is just in the accessories, intake and the harness. The head might be good too, but I don't want to mess with it. Someone that did have the time could probably make some money parting it out. If someone needs something easy to take off like the coil pack or an alternator I might be convinced to take it off and ship it for the right price. Or the clutch and pressure plate, that's all in a box. Last edited by 98318ti; 02-05-2012 at 09:01 PM. Not parting out a whole car just have the complete engine. And yeah I suspect shipping might be prohibitive to the UK. | | | 02-11-2012, 06:34 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | Well at this point if nobody needs the whole thing I will just start taking parts off and putting them on a shelf in case I need them at some point. | | | 02-13-2012, 03:29 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Novi, MI Posts: 115 | I'm in Wixom, and trying to diagnose a problem with my 96 ti. I think I have a wiring or sensor problem somewhere. Do you have all of the engine sensors as well? (cam pos, crank pos, knock, etc) __________________ Josh | | | 02-13-2012, 04:25 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | Yes, everything is on the engine still. This engine is from a 98 though which is OBDII. I don't know if 96 was the same. You will have to find out from the experts on the site. | | | 02-13-2012, 04:30 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Novi, MI Posts: 115 | 96 is obd 2 as well. Everything should be interchangeable. __________________ Josh | | | 02-13-2012, 02:59 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | That's good news. Come and get it then. Everything is wired up still just as it was in the car. Just one or two sensors will pay for the $200 that I want for it. | | | 02-14-2012, 02:08 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Novi, MI Posts: 115 | Okay, lets work out the details in PM. __________________ Josh | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
