What injectors should I be using? I know I want a flow rate of around 30lb (315cc/min), with high impedance injectors. I guess EV1 type would be easier to fit, and with jetronic connectors. I see the standard injector is a type E spray pattern, which is to the side, would a standard cone spray be ok? What have people tried out? I see the standard length is 79mm long, with the adapters in place would 77mm be about right? Can the fuel rail be spaced upwards, but not down? Cheers Dylan __________________ Supercharged 318Ti | | | 05-10-2012, 05:00 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | 42LB bosch lime top are the best upgrade w/ software | | | 05-10-2012, 09:41 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: Leeds, England Posts: 133 | Unfortunately I have a Downing Atlanta supercharger with the custom manifold therefore going to have to do something with adapters __________________ Supercharged 318Ti | | | 05-30-2012, 07:42 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: south wales uk Posts: 135 | can anyone that has nicks dasc stage 3 upgrade confirm what poundage the injectors are for me as i've had mixed info and wanna get this right before an order is placed | | | 05-30-2012, 07:45 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: south wales uk Posts: 135 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwconnect 42LB bosch lime top are the best upgrade w/ software | has anyone used these with the dasc? and if so what bmw are they from? | | | 05-30-2012, 11:19 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Quote: Originally Posted by m44lee has anyone used these with the dasc? and if so what bmw are they from? | Yes many people use them and they are from a Mustang not a BMW | | | 05-30-2012, 11:28 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: south wales uk Posts: 135 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwconnect Yes many people use them and they are from a Mustang not a BMW | oh dont suppose you could post a link to some as i have no idea when it comes to injectors | | | 05-31-2012, 12:30 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | | | | 05-31-2012, 09:17 PM | #9 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Florida Posts: 90 | The NickG stage 3 tune comes with 30lbs injectors, the 42lbs injectors would require a different tune(midnight?) | | | 05-31-2012, 10:21 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: south wales uk Posts: 135 | Quote: Originally Posted by 318RS The NickG stage 3 tune comes with 30lbs injectors, the 42lbs injectors would require a different tune(midnight?) | cheers buddy exactly the answer i was looking for! i also mistakenly bought the UK 95 m3 maf which is 3.5" instead of the US m3s 3.0" does anyone know wether or not this would work ok with the stage 3 tune? | | | 07-02-2012, 08:02 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: Northampton, UK Posts: 35 | Quote: Originally Posted by m44lee cheers buddy exactly the answer i was looking for! i also mistakenly bought the UK 95 m3 maf which is 3.5" instead of the US m3s 3.0" does anyone know wether or not this would work ok with the stage 3 tune? | You need the 328 MAF dude. | | | 07-03-2012, 06:05 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by m44lee cheers buddy exactly the answer i was looking for! i also mistakenly bought the UK 95 m3 maf which is 3.5" instead of the US m3s 3.0" does anyone know wether or not this would work ok with the stage 3 tune? | You need a 1995 M3 or 328 MAF. It has to be a 1995, no other year MAF is plug and play like the 1995.
