Dash rpm needle drops to zero (shuts off) and engine cuts out for a split second when i hit a bump in the road. Traction light also turns on (the one betweem MPH and RPM gauge). Last thing I did was re-install the ECU flashed by Technique tuning. I'll be checking my connector again... but is there anything else that could cause this? what kind of sensor or connection would be this sensative to bumps? | | | 08-07-2012, 11:24 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | I would check the Battery terminals as they need to be pressure connected and clean of corrosion | | | 08-07-2012, 11:31 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: May 2010 Location: CA Posts: 95 | Gotcha... Any other tips are welcome too~ Thanks! | | | 08-07-2012, 11:53 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | A loose ground connection could also easily be the culprit. Check the engine to frame ground strap. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion.
