this sounds like nitpicking, well, because it is, but it wont match the color scheme of the rest of my dash, it does appear to be the perfect size tho....also im a big fan of marty and moog, MCM is one of my favorite youtube subs

ok, so intercooler piping is fully run, i have the fabricator coming in later to weld up some of the connections. 4 clamps for each connection looks awful and will probably not hold boost very well. I am working on squeezing the intake into the little space i have left under the hood.



also had a consultation with a local custom interior guy about some ideas i have.

here is how it goes: i am sick of the outdated look of a single din headunit, but i dont want the added weight of a double din DVD unit, as a solution, i plan to have the guy move the HVAC controls down, mount a small 3g tablet connected to an amp which will sit under the rear seat delete panel. This gives me the functionality of a GPS, MP3 player, Satellite Radio, Pandora, email, movie player and even turn the car into a wifi hotspot. In the process, it will eliminate the annoying hole for the OBC ive been looking to fill. We will also eliminate the ashtray and lighter to make way for volume control and various other switches. I am pretty excited about this solution, any thoughts on tablets.
also, sorry about the gap in updates. I have barely had time to breathe with the semester wrapping up and work finally getting bu$y

Sounds like that new McM video. may I suggest an iPad mini haha. And for whatever you get a slide out kickstand of sorts because I'd hate to be working with my tablet st that mild angle the dash unit has.

I had actually been considering doing something along those lines before I saw the video, but after I saw the video I was dead set on it LOL, gotta love Marty and moog. I am actually looking at the nexus 7 atm. Im going to buy one used and there just isn't a used iPad mini market just yet, but who knows, maybe after Christmas there will be. And that's a good idea, maybe mount it at an angle

Well. I'd put it on a solder that can slide into it and make it flat again and locked in place and then able to slide out for use at an angle.

I think it looks good its gonna be under the hood and either way the LSB Is way different than the blue used in the piping
