Default How to remove Fan clutch from the waterpump

I did remove fan clutch from the water pump with no problem many times, except this last time where it was hard stuck and spent hours with no luck

This is what I did to remove it.
Bought an 8" T-hinge from harbor freight for $1.99

http://www.harborfreight.com/8-inch-t-hinge-95559.html

attached it to one of the bolt on the water pump pulley as shown in the picture attached

removed fan clutch with an adjustable wrench in less than 60 seconds!! (note: fan clutch has reverse thread. turn clockwise to remove)
Pay attention to the 2nd bolt where T-hinge hits so it doesn't break your water pump pulley. I didn't care because, my donor motor had a good pulley already.

Hope this helps somebody

Did you replace the engine in your ti? Reason I ask is because North American 318ti's didn't come with clutch fans, they only came with electric puller fans.
