Default M52obd1 swap/no fuel,spark...

Hey guys was hoping to be driving my 95ti this summer already.... But ran into a snag. So I'm turning to the Ti.community for help! Here's the info: car is 95ti obd1,ews2, engine is 97 M52 converted to obd1. So it's all swapped ready to go along with zf5spd. Was an auto. Swapped complete ews and silver 413 dme. It cranks but no fuel relays get power with key on but no power to fuse 18. Please anyone who's done this swap or has knowledge of these things help me out. I've been working on this car for nearly 2yrs. Now and the end result will be a very nice Ti.

You think this might do it... I had seen this before but the way the wire part title sounds like for only obd2 chassis but if you read on it says however late model 95-96.... Models.. hmmm? I hope this works. Any thoughts?

Do you have the BMW Electrical Troubleshooting manuals for the '95 318ti and the '97 328i? If so, you should be able to cross reference where each pin in the X20 and X69 connectors come from and go to. If you don't have them, get 'em!

I started by printing out each manual, pored through each page, and used a yellow highlighter whenever X20 and/or X69 is mentioned. Then I built an Excel spreadsheet for each chassis and entered in the highlighted info to record where the respective wires come from and go to. I won't lie -- it is a tedious process that took a few hours.

My 318ti is a June 1996 build (manual trans) and my M52 came out of a June 1997 328i (auto trans), so my spreadsheet won't necessarily work for your setup. Regardless, PM me your email address and I'll send you my final spreadsheet to see how I laid it out.

Ya that does sound tedious... But I have Bentley and a couple wiring manuals.... But will pm you and take a look at that write up you did. My m52 is also 97 but it's converted with m50tu bits to obd1 as my Ti is 95 obd1....

After rereading that ews write up it sounds like the same idea as cutting the green wire at the ews module itself which I tried...with no success.. so I dunno what else to try. Could I have fried the dme's by not grounding them properly?

Ya I think this must be either I fried both dme's by not grounding them properly or the x20 wiring cause I took the chip out the key and tried and it doesn't even engage the starter....?
