Unfortunately I have to sell the car as a whole "as-is". The damage is to the rear bumper (save-able), the panel between the bumper and the hatch needs to be straightened or better yet replaced, and the frame rail on the passenger side needs to be pulled straight. OR buy it and part it out. So a little about the car if that first part hasn't scared you off. It's a 1996 318ti M-technic, Alpine white, 5 speed, 144k on it. It runs good and I was getting average of 37mpg. I have receipts for over $1,200 in parts and have done more work to it and at a friends shop. Honestly I'd say there's an easy $2,000 into it within the past year. I'll start with the cons, there isn't much but I'm gonna list everything. I'm looking to get $2,000 or best offer. If I get $2,000 I will include the style 5's and the stock wheels. But throw me offers I need this gone. It's going to be sold with a clean title "as-is" Cons: Bulb behind the mileage is burnt out, needs to be replaced. I work three jobs and haven't gotten to ordering it yet. Needs an AC belt The driver side window needs that plastic clip Exhaust leak from around the muffler I believe that's it. Pro's: New alternator New battery New plugs and wires Xenon headlights New Cat converter New exhaust from cat to the manifold New headliner Lowered on raceland coilovers Style 5's (for sale seperately, or can bundle them with the car) Clutch is strong Mint interior Almost no rust at all Clean car, I'm the second owner. I get between 34-37mpg depending on driving habit New brakes The car is super clean, only spot of rust is on the driver side door, bottom left. It's minimal. If anyone is interested in it, Call, text, or reply. My phone is the best way to reach me. 781-307-6734, my name is Rob. Thanks. | | | 09-25-2013, 01:50 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 38 | I guess I forgot how to load pictures. If you want, go to the craigslist ad. If you really are interested I could meet halfway or drive it to you for the gas money. | | | 09-26-2013, 03:06 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | im very interested. can you post more pictures of the car, including the damaged area? It seems like a great car, but I am going to part it out. If people want stuff, let me know. I can ship all small items, if you need a large item shipped, let me know and we can talk about it but local is better. I would be interested in selling the car stripped with the motor intact (ie, turn it into a track car or project car). SO EVERYONE KNOWS, i am doing this one last time because i am starting a non-profit for installing solar panels on poor schools. All the money from the sale of the parts will go directly towards this project. (I can almost offer you non-profit status soon, but we aren't there yet, and its already sales tax free) Anyway, PLEASE be excited to buy these parts because you are helping some poor kids!!! =] Please PM me with stuff you want. The car starts to get stripped tomorrow. | | | 10-02-2013, 05:56 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: NJ Posts: 110 | PM Sent | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
