I am looking at buying a the KO M3 throttle body kit for the M42 as well as a KO CAI.
Can anyone tell me how hard it is (or how) to remove the stock TB?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

very easy! just be sure to remove the little rubber grommet holding the throttle cable/also connected to cruise control so it will allow the cable to come right out. don't snip the end of the cable, then you'll have some problems. __________________

The KO TB kit converts the 318ti throttle body to an M3 throttle body. I just talked to McCormic Motorsports in Lousville Kentucky. They make complete ITB assemblys for the M42/44. Sounds like a great place. Cost was 750-1000 dollars. It comes with everything that is needed. Ja, naturally, but a DBilas ITB kit costs about 1700$ over here so ...
