When changing over to E36 M3 spindles and brakes, is it also important to switch over to offset CABs? My car has already been swapped so I am trying to get it sorted out before I put on my new struts. I am going to look for part numbers on the spindles (kingpins) tomorrow. Previous owner stated that it was the late M3 setup that was used, but I'll double check. Thanks | | | 02-24-2015, 12:16 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2014 Location: ME Posts: 19 | Just figured out that I have a late M3 (96+) spindle on the right side and an early one on the left. Really confused now. CABs are centered. Right wheel definitely sits forward. Looks like the left side is correct. Any insight? | | | 03-02-2015, 06:43 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Florida Posts: 90 | For a track car I like the wheel a little farther forward. I would get a later one to match the right. | | | 03-10-2015, 09:11 PM | #4 | Member Join Date: Aug 2012 Location: Laguna Niguel, CA Posts: 76 | i have e36 m3 spindles and centered fcabs, aligns just fine. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
