Sorry for my ignorance...! | Factory Bmw angel eyes utilize fiber-optic technology to illuminate the light ring; they are quite a bit dimmer than these CCFL (cold-cathode fluorescent lighting) ones. Depending on how you wire them up, they can be on when you have your high-beams and low beam on. I wired mine up to the fog light harnesses so that I can turn them on or off any time without affecting my driving lights. __________________ | | | 03-14-2006, 09:51 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | buy them, you'll get better cs service that umntiza EDIT: btw, cheaper too. __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators M3 17" Wheels De-Baffled Air Box AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings Chrome Interior bits IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs Kenwood Power Series Audio Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers Sports Seats | | | 03-14-2006, 10:47 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Posts: 12 | Get them if your comfortable with doing the halo wiring yourself. Anyone know how hard that would be? | | | 03-14-2006, 10:53 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | That's just like the set I bought on Ebay. But I think the rings are a colder temp than mine. Very easy to wire up, if they install like mine did Quote: Originally Posted by midnightTI Get them if your comfortable with doing the halo wiring yourself. Are there any that are just normal bulbs? I know that you have to have the whole system to get them to work, you cannot just replace the bulb from a normal light of course. Or just send me a link to get me to shut up and quit asking stupid questions... __________________ Silver 98 318ti Standard trans, Sport Package: 16" Stock Wheels, Foglamps, Sunroof, Heated Leather Seats, Bilstein performance shocks, OEM Sach's clutch kit, Dunlop SP Sport A2 225/50/16 tires, Alpine CDA 7894, Dual Rockford Fosgate 12" subs, Rockford Fosgate Amp, Leather Armrest, Replaced M44 engine with only 40k on it! http://www.geocities.com/evalha/bmwsmaller.JPG | | | 03-16-2006, 01:46 AM | #9 | Member Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Lowell, Ma Posts: 61 | $50.00 for shipping.
